Swift is the powerful new programming language for iOS. It provides a programmer friendly and high quality programming environment to develop an iOS App. I personally prefer to go with Swift because it's safer, faster, readable and maintainable.
Sole of swift is written in objective C. Every iOS app before 2014, is written in this language. Objective C is very mature, which means there are well established conventions and work flows. I feel very much confident with this language because it feels me like I am coding in C ( a childhood Programming language and of course I have written my first program in C. That's why I Love it. )
